May 2011: Deepwater Horizon Memorial

A 7 foot bronze oil worker has been created to honor the 11 lives lost in the 2010 Gulf oil spill disaster. This piece sits in the center of a circular water feature in Houston Tx. A tent was erected around it on April 20, one year after the incident, to host the memorial gathering of families and all involved. This sculpture can be viewed by the public and now resides in front of the world headquarters on Transocean.
